Lee Mill village is sometimes called ‘Lee Mill Bridge’.  Our chapel is on the main road through the village from the A38 to Ivybridge, a quarter of a mile west of the Tesco Extra.  It is served by the Tesco Extra Lee Mill free shopper service and by the route 20/20A buses.  NB that there is also a back way in via the alleyway off New Park Road next to the number 20 bus stop 🙂

The Falcon Coach also serves Lee Mill, stopping opposite the Westward Inn and on the A38 West slip road.

Nearby places include Smithaleigh, Sparkwell, Venton, Cornwood, Woodlands (i.e West Ivybridge), Ivybridge, Plympton, Ermington, Elburton, Modbury, Yealmpton, Dartmoor and Plymouth.  The ‘Famous Lee Mill’ is also nearby.

Parking is available on Sundays and evenings at Bowker House, just opposite the chapel.

Parking is available on Sundays and evenings at Bowker House, just opposite the chapel.

Free Car Parking:

At week-ends and in the evening it is usually possible to park free, by kind permission, in the car park down the right-hand side of Bowker House, which is situated directly opposite Lee Mill Chapel.  However, please do not park without permission in the “famous” Lee Mill car park.

At other times, it is usually just a matter of finding somewhere (legal) on the roads.  Do ask if you would like to use some-one’s driveway, because this is often possible.

It is almost always possible to park on Plymouth Road, the road the chapel is on, especially near Hazeldene Close and Western Cottages, but also further West up Plymouth Road.

However, if you live in Lee Mill itself, do take advantage of the back way in to the chapel grounds.  It is accessible from New Park Road down an alleyway just next to the 20A bus stop on the South side of New Park Road, near number 37.
