Isaiah 59:12-21 – Christ Alone LMCC 2017/11/05

"If anyone could have earned heaven by the life of a monk,
it was I."

Like Luther, we don’t just need a leg-up, we need salvation…

I. SALVATION FROM MYSELF
12-13,16-17

Jesus saves us by being righteous for us.

II. SALVATION FROM EACH OTHER
14-15,19-21

Only Jesus’ words and the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ can save our society.

III. SALVATION FROM JUDGEMENT 17-18,20

Salvation is only in, and through and by the LORD Jesus Christ: ‘Solus Christus’
