If I were in Charge of Christmas – The Wrong Visitors – Matthew 2
Main thing: Even if everything is wrong and messed up in your life, if you depend upon and worship Jesus Christ, that is what matters most!

4th one in our preaching series, “If I were in charge of Christmas”.
Everything about Jesus’ coming and birth seemed wrong-
• The wrong time – Jesus came long after the Fall when we humans first needed a saviour.
• The wrong place – Jesus had a northern accent. Surely he could have grown up in Bethlehem as the messiah was supposed to?
• The wrong parents – Joseph and Mary were downright common, and Jesus’ other ancestors were downright criminal.
“If I were in charge of Christmas, I certainly would not do it how God did it!”, you might say.
And now, having been born, Jesus seems to get all the wrong visitors!

I. THE WRONG VISITORS 1-2

II. AN EVEN WRONGER VISITOR 8

III. THE WRONGEST VISITORS 13,16
